Casper is a CREMELLO tobiano. He is homozygous for the creme gene. He will sire dilute colored foals guaranteed....grey mares will produce dilute foals, but they may then grey out.
Bred to a sorrel/chestnut mare, he will sire a palomino foal 100% of the time. Bred to black, brown, bay mares, he will produce palomino, buckskin and rarely, smokey black or smokey brown.
If bred to a dilute color mare, he could produce a cremello foal. He is not homozygous for the tobiano gene, so spots may or may not be produced, but he has about an 85 percent color production record on solid and colored mares.
He is a very sweet stud. Not a mean bone in his body. Altho, Casper is a little guy standing right at 14 hands, his foals have usually matured taller than he is.
His sire was Diamonds Are Great and his dam is Spokane's Blue Mist. His dam was 15.2 hands.
He is a very athletic horse. Started when 2, then badly injured a rear leg and was laid up for over a year while it healed. Never got around to putting him back into training. Click here to see his pedigree!
