RASCAL'S ROOKIE, APHA

George is a 2006 sorrel tobiano stallion. He is a very kind minded horse. George broke his neck when he was 7 months old, but is still around! It broke down on the vertebral body, not in the spinal canal, but we still consider him our miracle boy. He has a permanent kink in his neck. On one side it is convex and the other concave! He was turned out after the accident and allowed to grow and see how he would do. Grew he did! He is 15.3 hands. We started him under saddle last year and he's riding very nicely. Moves like a natural pleasure horse! His momma is our mare, My Two Eyed Sally. The pictures here were taken right after a huge rain storm and the mud was everywhere and deep! So, excuse the dirty horse pics! George loves to roll in the mud. Clean is not in his vocabulary!

You can sort of see the lump on George's neck where the vertebrae were displaced laterally. The other side has a corresponding concave area.

Here is a body shot of George. He stands 15.3 hands. He is a very lean built horse and is all muscle. No fat on this boy. He'd be really big if he were fitted up like a halter horse!
